Spring Organ Series 2014
30 March, 11 & 13 April

The three spring concerts that will be organized again this year at the historic site of St Paul's Anglican Church will include thirteen musicians accompanied on the 1900 Hill historic organ on the occasion of the 11th edition of the Spring Organ Series.

Continuing the tradition of the successful concerts of the past years, the Spring Organ Series continues to be part of the cultural agenda of Athens for a second decade finding fresh inspiration from spring, Easter and the original concert programmes.

This unique programme includes two improvisations inspired by the greek ancient woodwind instrument "syrinx", Ktisivios from Alexandria, the inventor of the organ (3th century B.C.) and Saint Paul, who visited Athens in 50 A.D.
