Israeli singer Tamuz Nissim has invited saxophonist Shauli Einav for her debut CD presentation concert at the “Athens Technopolis Jazz Festival”. Tamuz’s warm and expressive voice has led her to paths closer to more aspects of the vocal jazz scene. With a flexible and penetrating technique and an approach that bursts with freshness, the singer, songwriter and pianist from Tel Aviv has already given us some excellent samples of her art, through various projects and her album, “The Music Stays In A Dream’, that was released with the contribution of some great Greek jazz musicians. Tamuz will perform together with the Israeli saxophonist, Shauli Einav, who has been described as a "blowing bundle of virtuosity" (Jazz Inside Magazine NYC) and his latest album Opus One (Plus Loin Music) was reviewed as a "Smartly played, swinging and evocative jazz album” (DownBeat Magazine).
Tamuz and Shauli will present their work from their recent albums and will improvise together on Israeli folk songs.
